Thank you for visiting Brevik Homeroom!
"Meeting the needs of every student and differentiating instruction to bring success."

Whether you’re looking for help in creating a challenging academic home-school environment to foster high achievement, or are in need of assistance in crafting curriculum for an entire school, you can rely on over three decades of educational experience to find solutions to the problems at hand. My job is to give you the personalized, private attention to help your home or charter school reach its full academic potential.

My name is Dr. Lori Brevik. I am a recently retired teacher, having taught in public schools for 25 years. During this period I also developed curricula and taught for a variety of teacher preparation programs, while concurrently home-schooling our 3 sons. I hold a BS degree in Marketing and Management from Arizona State University; Master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership from the University of Colorado; and a PhD in Educational Administration, Research, and Policy Studies from the University of Denver. I continue to maintain my Master Teaching Licensure as well as my Principal Licensure in the state of Colorado. My greatest passions, other than spending time with my family, are teaching and instilling a love for learning among students of all ages, abilities, and from all backgrounds. My goal is to help students, teachers, and administrators become happy, productive, and successful members of society. In that vein, I am continuing my work with coaching home-school parents and consortia, consulting and developing curricula for charter and online programs, and teaching teachers how to teach. Promising Personalized Guidance to Help Reach Your Goals
WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?
PLEASE DONATE TODAY
Our goal, since the inception of Brevik Homeroom, has been to provide high quality individual tutoring to anyone who needs it, coaching and mentoring for teachers coming into the profession, and as many free resources as we can compile to help those already homeschooling or helping to support their families educationally.
During these challenging economic times, we have continued to provide educational assistance to students, parents, and teachers. We provide these resources on a sliding financial scale or at no charge, because our goal of providing superior educational experiences remains paramount no matter the circumstances.
With this in mind, we are also opening our doors to anyone willing or able to help contribute to our ongoing work. If you are interested in donating, or if you know of a benefactor who might be able to assist us so that we can continue to provide services and resources, please consider a donation today.
All donations go directly toward providing the services of our tutors as well as maintaining accessible and free resources.
